ITINERARY
Day 1: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
On arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be received by your Gorilla Trekking & Wildlife Uganda Rwanda trip driver guide and you will be driven to Ruhengeri – the base town of Volcanoes national park. This 2 hours drive journey through the scenic hills of Rwanda will offer the best picturesque with numerous stop overs for taking pictures.

Day 2: Volcanoes National Park, Rwanda
Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park and drive to Uganda.
Wake up to an early breakfast and transfer to the park headquarters for briefing and later proceed into the jungle for your long awaited gorilla trekking adventure on the Bamboo slopes of Rwanda’s Volcanoes national park.
After lunch, your private Gorilla Trekking & Wildlife Uganda Rwanda driver will transfer you to the Uganda side, crossing the border via the Cyanika into Kisoro to Nkuringo where you’ll spend the night and track gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

Day 3: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
After enjoying an early breakfast, you will be dropped by your driver guide to the park headquarters for a briefing and allocation of the gorilla family before you set off gorilla trekking. Enter the forest trekking through the steep, densely forested hills and then finally after a few of searching you will be privileged to spend an hour with the gorillas.
This is a Gorilla Trekking & Wildlife Uganda Rwanda safari highlight and you should savor every moment you spend in the jungles of the impenetrable forest. Don’t rush, stop, smell the flower, look up the ancient trees, smell the cold and dump forest air and breath deep for this 2 million old forest has its own mind, listen!

Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park national park after enjoying your breakfast. On arrival, you will enjoy a game drive in the ishasha sector in search of the tree climbing lions. After transfer to the lodge and rest. The animal species to view here include; the lion, elephants, antelopes as well as birds.

Day 5: Queen Elizabeth National Park
Morning wildlife Game Drive and safari boat cruise on Kazinga Channel.
Enjoy breakfast and then proceed for a morning Gorilla Trekking & Wildlife Uganda Rwanda safari game drive in the park. You will get a chance to view many animal species including some of the African savanna Big five family members.
Return to the hotel for lunch and in the afternoon go for a safari boat cruise on the Kazinga channel. Later return to the lodge and rest for the evening.

Day 6: Transfer to Kibale National Park
Bigodi Nature walk
With an early breakfast, you will enjoy a scenic drive to Kibale Forest the “Primates capital” with the highest concentration of primates in Africa. You will visit Bigodi wetland and then enjoy the nature walk in search of the different primates, bird species and various plant species before you settle into your booked lodge.

Day 7: Chimpanzee Trekking
Early in the morning you will be dropped to the park headquarters in Kanyanchu for a briefing before you venture into the forest insearch of a chimpanzee family in the Kibale forest.
Tracking chimpanzees in their natural habitat, as they swing from the branches in the canopy high above the forest floor, is a thrilling experience.
Later that afternoon, your Gorilla Trekking & Wildlife Uganda Rwanda safari will come to an end with a 4-5 hour drive back to Entebbe in time for your flight back home.
