Rhino Tracking In Uganda
Rhino Tracking In Uganda
Uganda is one of the few remaining habitats for the endangered rhinospecies. Visitors to the country can embark on a thrilling rhino tracking experience in the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, located in the Nakasongola District of Uganda.
The sanctuary is home to the only wild rhinos in Uganda, and visitors can learn about rhino conservation while tracking these magnificent animals on foot with the help of trained rangers.
For nature enthusiasts and wildlife lovers, a visit to the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary is an unforgettable experience. Established in 2005, the sanctuary covers 7,000 acres of savannah grassland, making it the ideal habitat for rhinos. Today, the sanctuary is home to over 40 southern white rhinos, including several newborns, providing a unique opportunity to see these majestic creatures in their natural habitat.
It costs about 60$ - 50$ for Adults and about 40$ - 30$ for Children at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.
