ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival & transfer to Kampala
Upon arrival, you will be met by your driver guide who will transfer you to Kampala. You will be able to see homesteads designed in an African style of Building, serene vegetation, Roadside markets among others along the way as you head to Kampala

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls
After an early breakfast, you will head northwest traversing homesteads, serene vegetations ,you will then enjoy an en-route lunch in Masindi town after which you proceed to Murchison Falls National Park.
On arrival drive straight to the top of the falls, where you can see the Niles perfected beauty and wonder as it squeezes through a seven meter canyon.

Day 3: Murchison Falls National Park
Game drive and a Boat safari in Murchison Falls National Park
After an early breakfast, you will conduct a game drive on the Northern bank where your guide will help you spot a great number of animals after which you will return to the lodge for relaxation at the swimming pool side and lunch.
In the afternoon, you will go for a boat cruise on the Victoria Nile and head to the bottom of the falls. The boat takes you near the falls and you can hike to the top of the falls, It is an exciting experience that brings you very close to the speeding up whitewater as it squeezes itself through the narrow gap.

Day 4: Transfer to Kibale forest National Park
After an early breakfast, transfer to Kibale forest National park on your Classic Uganda Safari, driving Southwest through the Albertine Escarpment of the great Western Rift Valley. With lunch en-route in Fort Portal town after which you continue to Kibale traversing homesteads, serene vegetation among others.

Day 5: Kibale Forest National Park
Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale National Park
After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to the park headquarters for a briefing before your embark on the jungle search of the chimpanzees. This forest is home to large numbers of chimpanzees and other primates including phoestes, Red-colobuses, Red-tailed and grey cheeked mangabeys, birds, butterflies. The ranger will not only provide detailed explanations on primates, but also on all the forests fauna and flora. Return for lunch after which you visit either the Kasenda Crater Lake region or bigodi community initiative swamp depending on your choice and enjoy the amazing panoramic views.

Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After an early breakfast, drive to the south to Queen Elizabeth National Park and on arrival enjoy a Game drive before checking into your hotel. In the afternoon, conduct a boat safari on the Kazinga Channel. This boat trip passes through probably the highest concentration of hippos and many animals may be seen drinking at the edge of water.

Day7: Queen Elizabeth National Park
Game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, start the day with an early morning African game drive along Kasenyi tracks and Queen’s mile in the park. Expect to see lions, elephants, cape buffalos, warthogs, spotted hyenas, mangoose, waterbucks, kobs and, if lucky, the leopard plus a lot of small animals and birds. You will go as far as Lake George. In the afternoon drive to the impressive Crater Lakes region for sightseeing.

Day 8: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, drive to Bwindi impenetrable National park via the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park in search of the tree climbing lions. The landscape is open savannah with acacia trees. Take your packed lunch after which you proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Day 9: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
After an early morning breakfast with packaged lunch, your driver – guide will drive you to the starting point of the gorilla tracking where you will be briefed by the Park rangers about tracking these apes in the forest. You will track the gorillas with the help of experienced guides who will lead you to the gorillas where you will spend an hour in their company. This is one of the most interesting and rewarding activities of your Classic Uganda Safari

Day 10: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
After an early breakfast, drive to Lake Bunyonyi and through the gently sloping hills and terraced landscape. This area is referred to as the “Switzerland” of Africa. In the afternoon, a boat ride on the lake to the various islands is also another great opportunity for bird watching and sightseeing.

Day 11: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
After an early breakfast, drive to Lake Mburo National Park, the second smallest national park among other National parks, via homesteads, tea plantations among others. Lunch in Mbarara town after which you proceed to the park. Go for a game drive in search for the beautiful impalas, zebras, cape buffalos, elands, oribi and topi among others. Return to the lodge and in the evening you will go for a boat Cruise on Lake Mburo

Day 12: Transfer to Entebbe & departure:
After an early breakfast, drive back to Entebbe for your flight back home. Here you will traverse homesteads, banana plantations, roadside markets among others. A stopover at the equator for photography and lunch. After drive to Entebbe for your international flight.
End of the 12 Days Classic Uganda Safari.
