Overview

This 3 Day Murchison Falls Wildlife safari takes you into the largest savanna plains in the country, Murchison Falls National Park. The trip route goes through Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to make sure you complete the Africa Safaris “Big Five” list finding the other big four on a classic Africa safari game drive within the park. You’ll also take a boat ride on Victoria Nile to the foot of the falls where on the shores you get to see a plethora of wild creatures and herds of hippos.

ITINERARY

Arrival

You’ll be picked from the airport in Entebbe and transferred to your safari camp in Murchison Falls National Park to start you 3 Day Murchison Falls Wildlife Safari. Accommodation before the tour day can be arranged at an extra fee.

Day 1: Drive to Murchison fall National Park

You will be picked up from your hotel as you start you adventurous Murchison falls safari. On arrival in the park, you will drive to the top of the falls where you will experience the roaring sound of the water squeezing in a 7-meter gorge leaves you amazed at the natural beauty of this wonder of a park. Drive and arrive early evening for relaxation, dinner and sunset experience at the Lodge

Day 2: Game drive and boat safari to the bottom of the falls

You will have an early morning breakfast and then set off for the Murchison Falls Wildlife Safari in the park offering rewarding African safari game drive lasting about 3-6 hours according to the season and the movement of these animals. You will return to the hotel for a hot meal or an option of carrying packed lunch to have more time in the wild is also ideal.

After lunch, you will set off for a boat cruise on the Nile with many fascinating species coming to the shores of the Nile to drink water. This part is the highlight of your tour.

Day 3: Drive to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary and then back to Kampala

After breakfast, drive out of Murchison falls national park with a stopover at Ziwa rhino sanctuary With the first six southern white rhinos were translocated in 2005/6, with four from Kenya, and two from the Disney Animal Kingdom. After the Rhino tracking on foot/walk, drive back to Kampala at the of the Murchison falls safari.
